The application makes it possible for you to obtain a licence for the recording/copying of tracks onto a given physical audio media.
The price charged for the NCB's licence will vary due to the information registered on the application.
After having accepted NCB's terms you will, in most cases, receive an invoice at once. You can choose to either pay the invoice immediately by credit card or to pay it later.
The manufacturer can't hand over the finished product to you until the NCB invoice has been paid.
The following exeptions need NCB's finalization of the application, before an invoice is mailed to you:
- the application contains more than 80 % NCB-free/spoken works of the total number of tracks
- it is a release of your own music, exceeding 5,000 copies
- it is a box containing both a CD or LP format and a DVD format
- you have marked for NCB's handling of the application
- you are an Icelandic customer
- some tracks must be checked
- Windows with Chrome, IE (vers. 11), Edge and Mozilla
- Mac OS with Firefox, Safari (version 11.1.2) and Chrome (version 67.0.3396.99)
